Multan is historical city located in south Pakistan. Multan is also known as Manchester of Pakistan as it is the most ancient city of Pakistan with a unique and significant cultural history. Historical places of Multan: The most priceless feature of Multan is its stunning mosques, which are among the oldest in all of South Asia. According to legend, the Muhammad Qasim regime's Jamia mosque was the first mosque to ever stand on Multan's grounds. Sadly, natural disasters have destroyed the masjid's original construction, leaving only its remnants. Despite being the oldest, Sawi Masjid is currently in poorer condition.
